At the invitation of National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore, BR Metals joined a trade delegation comprising over 30 Singapore companies led by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources to Liaoning, PRC from 29th to 31st July 2019.
Frank Chen, Managing Director of BR Metals is honoured to attend the 10th Singapore-Liaoning Economic and Trade Council (SLETC) meeting in Shenyang with Business Development Manager, Rita Chen on 29th July. During the meeting, Minister Masagos commented that “Singapore can contribute to Liaoning’s next phase of growth in three key areas: Sustainability, Connectivity and Modern Services”; while Mr Tang Yijun suggested that both sides shall “continue to deepen practical cooperation in science, technology, education, health care, culture and tourism so as to achieve win-win development.” Mr Tan Zuojun, Dalian Party Secretary and Mr Tan Chengxu, Dalian Mayor also reiterated their support in developing the RMB 1.5-billion Dalian Sino-Singapore Biotech Hub. During the business mission, the delegation called on Liaoning Governor Mr Tang Yijun, met with Shenyang Party Secretary Mr Zhang Lei and Dalian Party Secretary Mr Tan Zuojun.
BR Metals looks forward to playing a role in developing sustainability solutions for precious metals recycling, and contribute to the province’s next phase of growth with other Singapore environmental services companies.
